1.   Describe the process that led you to want to become Jewish.

I wanted to become jewish after I read the tannack and beresheyt the first book of torah

I discovered that Judaism is the religion of avaraham, and moshe. I have always admired avraham, and after I read g-ds promise to Israel in beresheyt (genesis) I had a love for Jewish ness.

From then I studied everything about Israel and its beautiful customs, I studied more and more about Judaism and the more I studied the more I wanted to be a jew. I love all the customs of judaism it made me love Israel and the jewish people more.

The l-rd chose the jews as guiders for non jews. knowing this, it gave me a drive to come to judaism and HASHEMS words the torah.

To be jewish is to be related to all the jews in the world, which make a big spiritual family.

2. Which Jewish values and beliefs do you find most appealing and persuasive?

The most appealing and persuasive beliefs of Judaism is the torah itself, it is amazing book with beautiful verses, a book with commandments and stories of the prophets and patriarchs of Israel. The commandments is a way g-d wants for the children of Israel.

I also wish to study beautiful works of rabbinic sages on the torah i.e oral torah i.e the Talmud, mishnah, and the works of maimonides. I find the rabbinic speeches and works interesting as they give an in sight in how to follow torah

3.   How is Judaism more appropriate for you than your former religion or lifestyle?

Judaism is more appropriate for me then my former faith mainly because Judaism is a pure way of life based on the torah, the way of Israel.  Judaism is a loving religion with freedom.

My former faith is not the original faith of avraham, moses and yitzak, by following Judaism, I will be part of the jewish family and be following the one l-rd of Israel abba HASHEM who chose the jewish person to teach torah.

Being Jewish means being responsible, I think this responsibility is a great one. These are the things which have attracted me to Judaism.

Judaism also suits the way I think about g-d.

4.   Describe how your personal and home life has changed because of Jewish tradition and how it may yet change in the future.

My life has changed very much ever since ive had a desire for torah ways, ive become happier and ive worked a step harder for becoming a jew by increasing my knowledge and studying more.

I hope In the future I will be more involved in shull activities and taking part in the Sabbath all the time hashem willing, and involved in meeting jews more, this will change my home life and make me more religious.

5.   Describe your sense of identification with the Jewish people in relation to Israel, world Jewry, the local Jewish community and your synagogue.

Israel is the biblical land promised to the Israelites(jews), since g-d promised this the covenant will never break. G-d also blesses Abrahams descendents who are the Jews.

g-d also says that the descendents of the twelve tribes will return to Israel.

The jews will always be apart of Israel because g-d chose this way, and g-d made a covenant with the jewish people.  This is the relationship between Israel and the jews.

There are not many jews in the world and are one of the smallest religions, All the jews in the world are one big spiritual family. Countries which have a Jewish population is Israel, united states, united kingdom, Argentina, France and other countries  in the east i.e Australia, china, Japan, India.

From many of these countries the Jews have left the Diaspora to stay in their homeland of Israel. Most jews are in Israel today.

The local jewish community is very far from where I live, so I have little contact. The majority of the community is orthodox/reform community.  There are also less synagogues in where I live.

6.         Describe how you intend to fulfill the mitzvah of tzedakah.

I intend to fulfill the mitzvah of tzedakah by Giving and donating money to jewish causes i.e schools and jewish businesses. Donating to Israel daily as a part of my life . donating to the poor people in Israel and helping as much as I can.

7.   What is your commitment to prayer, Shabbat and keeping kosher?

I intend to pray everyday, three times a day as all the jews in the world do, I wish to go shul daily to help me improve my education of Judaism.

Im commited to engage in daily torah study for weekly torah.

I intend to participate in Shabbat all the time as its in the ten commandments its a very important mitzvah. G-d ceased from creation on this day and so this is why it is important to participate in Shabbat. Shabbat is when all the jews get together and celebrate g-ds creation, Shabbat builds this connection between the jewish people.  I would love to participate on Shabbat all the time HASHEM willing.

I intend to keep kosher highly because the torah commands this. Keeping kosher will be important because not only one will fulfill g-ds commandments but a kosher life is healthier living, this is the way g-d wants us to live.

8.   Plans for the future.   Jewish study?

.My plans for the future is to live as a full commited jew, live kosher and fulfilling the torah mitsvot. One of my wishes is to visit Israel, Jerusalem the holy city where the kotel stands part of king solomons temple.
